I appreciate the magnitude of a decision to undergo plastic surgery on the face.  There is no room for error.  I demand the absolute best out of myself for my patients who entrust their face in my hands.”

MEET

Dr. Sharma

Dr. Sharma is a fellowship-trained Facial Plastic Surgeon and a Board Certified Head and Neck Surgeon in Newport Beach, California. His practice is devoted specifically to cosmetic surgery of the face and neck, with specialization in rhinoplasty, facelift and neck lift, eyelid and brow surgery and a range of cutting-edge surgical and non-surgical treatments.

EDUCATION and TRAINING

l

Dr. Sharma attended Carnegie Mellon University on multiple scholarships to pursue a degree in Chemistry. He subsequently received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine (GWU) in his hometown of Washington DC. During his third year at GWU, he was awarded the Ammerman Foundation Scholarship, which is awarded annually to one student within the medical student body who demonstrates the highest level of achievement in medical research. Dr. Sharma then completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California Irvine (UCI) where he served as Chief Resident.

l

After completing his residency, Dr. Sharma was one of 46 surgeons in North America selected for a highly competitive, advanced AAFPRS-accredited fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto, a top-5 global healthcare facility (Newsweek). His fellowship was under the directorship of world renowned facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Jamil Asaria. In June 2021, Dr. Sharma was awarded the prestigious Kris Conrad Merit Award in Facial Plastic Surgery which is awarded annually to a young surgeon who demonstrates the highest level of expertise in the performance of Facial Plastic Surgery.

“In enhancing facial aesthetics, preserving one’s identity and maintaining a natural appearance is paramount.  The mark of an excellent surgeon is leaving no mark at all.  I want my patients to radiate their natural energy and to look as refreshed as they feel.”

BOARD CERTIFICATION

Dr. Sharma is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS).
